West Kilbride sits on the west coast between
Largs and Saltcoats, behind it is an area of
farmland and moorland with fabulous
opertunities for walking, mountain biking,
and pargliding and absolutetly stunning
views across the Clyde estuary. You can
choose walks from 1km to 15km with hills
up to 400m. Rail and bus links make linear
walks easy, extending the range of
possiblities, and allowing refreshment stops
on route.
The village is a craft centre, has cafe and
shops making last minute organsation easy.
