Description
Mine walk 9km.
From the car park in Muirshiel head along the
track out of the north end of the park above
the river Calder on the east bank to a good new
bridge. Continue over the bridge and along the
track for 4km to the mine workings. Return
the way you went.

Windy hill 2km
Leave the car park at the north end of the park by the north (left) exit cross the road and start
climbing through the trees. Eventually the trees end and you should walk on the railway sleeper
path prepared way to the summit of Windy hill.
The park has a pleasant walk round the periphery and a picnic area down by the river should you
decide walk a little more. There is a visitors centre at the car park.
